The Director of Corporate Partnerships provides leadership and support to the development department by serving as a key fundraiser with responsibility for creating and successfully executing an annual corporate fundraising and relations plan; is responsible for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding existing and new corporate partners as well as non-profit partnerships; leads exploratory discussions, evaluate opportunities, and negotiate business agreements. The Director of Corporate Partnerships is also responsible for oversight and supervision of Development staff including training and development.
- Build a comprehensive corporate relations program to manage and leverage all corporate and non-profit relationships held at all levels of the organization. Develop sponsorship program that includes individual events and comprehensive year-long partnerships to maximize sponsorship and corporate involvement
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Marketing & Communication and the Chief Development Officer to execute the corporate partner program
- Work with Director of Marketing & Communication to execute cause-related marketing opportunities.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual fundraising goals as assigned by CDO
- Meet quarterly with partners to review ROI and yearly to present ROI summary
- Expand Meals on Wheels People partnership portfolio by soliciting and negotiating long-term relationships with new corporate partners by creating dynamic presentation packages for new corporate prospects
- Provide leadership, training and mentorship in the areas of planning, development and event execution to ensure each event meets/exceeds fundraising goals and that designated sponsorship assets are within the corporate partnership guidelines
- Identify areas with corporate partners for cross-promotion, cause-related marketing efforts, volunteer opportunities, employee giving, in-kind sponsorship, etc.
