Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist position is part of the team that directs the strategic development and execution of marketing for Harvard Business School’s (HBS) Executive Education business. This position assists in the execution of marketing campaigns for the four flagship Comprehensive Leadership Programs utilizing targeted email/direct mail marketing, print and online advertising, social media channels, and web marketing. Working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, the ideal candidate must possess superior project management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical ability, and be able to manage multiple projects with numerous clients and deadlines. The position requires close collaboration with program directors, internal marketing team members, external writers, designers, and other vendors, as well as with HBS faculty and Executive Education staff. Responsibilities: Develop and monitor marketing campaigns for the website, social media channels, emails, newsletters, and collateral Establish strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including program directors, digital marketing, web marketing, program advising, data analytics, sales, admissions, finance, and program delivery Manage projects and liaise with outside writers, proofreaders, designers, and printers, to deliver high quality content and materials Work closely with in-house digital team to coordinate digital and print plans; including conducting analysis of past campaigns, ad creation, segmenting and targeting of digital campaigns Work with the social media team to develop appropriate messaging for program-specific social posts and campaigns, monitor results of social campaigns, and optimize accordingly Support development of content calendars and ensure associated projects meet internal deadlines Monitor and maintain marketing budget for programs Manage invoice processing to ensure prompt payment to vendors Other duties as assigned This role is offered as a hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are required to be onsite at our Boston, MA based campus 2-3 days per week. Specific days and schedule will be determined between you and your manager.
