We are looking to add an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to our growing digital team. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will manage the implementation and maintenance of digital campaigns and provide data analysis to ensure the effectiveness of Michigan Creative’s digital marketing strategies. This hands-on role will work within paid media platforms and analytical tools. The digital marketing team is growing to meet the continued demand at U-M. Our team of strategists, account managers, developers, and designers will be your collaborators and will look to you to provide your insight and expertise. You will report to the Director of Technology. Help create multi-channel marketing campaigns Contribute to big-picture marketing strategies Keep our team and clients up-to-date on marketing trends and apply them to our work Manage paid media campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, Google Search, Google Display, YouTube, audio ad platforms, and others Monitor the performance of a campaign to ensure we are meeting the clients’ goals Create user-friendly reports for colleagues and university leadership Manage buying and budgets within tactics and assist with budget management Make recommendations based on findings and experience to refine future campaigns Work within Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to tag events, track, and analyze campaign performance Provide expertise in each platform’s targeting, creative requirements, and best practices 3+ years of experience in marketing or advertising Intermediate experience managing paid media campaigns Experience using Google Universal Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio/ Tableau (or equivalent) Familiarity with digital marketing services like email, texting, and voice Job openings are posted for a minimum of seven calendar days.
